My Ramada Stay

The Ramada - 800 Fairview Road, Asheville

I've only stayed in one Asheville hotel - the Ramada Inn near River Ridge Shopping Center - off I-240 at exit 8. One reason I stayed here is it was near the home I was moving to and they were pet-friendly. I had my little dog with me.

We were both very happy with our room. There was a microwave and little fridge. They sold snacks and frozen dinners in the lobby. It was nothing fancy, but met our needs very nicely.

It was a bit off the beaten track, about 5-10 minutes from downtown and not on a busy street like all the places on Tunnel Rd. It was, however, near the shopping center and very close to Walmart and walking distance to a cafeteria, KFC and McDonalds.

They had a very good free hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles, yogurt, and so on.

I needed a handicap access room and they had them. The people were very nice, too. I'd stay there again, if I needed to.
